I really love our little new friends! They're kind of gross, but they're really cute and make cute noises. I caught two since my other Pokemon don't really want to get dirty by them.

[When she shuffles into the video feed, Jade's hair is it's own national crisis. All of it seems to be consumed by the slime from the Bloobers and worst of all, there's a lot of stuff getting picked up into her hair. There's twigs and leaves and grass. Some trash was probably in there too. Anything you think were possible to get stuck in slime and Jade's hair is probably in there. She seems to be slightly distressed.] Does anyone know how to clean all of this out properly?! I mean, I'll just cut it all off otherwise, but I was wondering if there's anyway to clean it out. I just keep getting more stuff in it and I can't really clean it all out by myself.

[Her Bloobers pop out of her hair and chirp.

Uhm, I also wanted to ask. Has anyone ever dismantled the Pokeballs to study them? I've considered tinkering with them.

But I would reeeeaally love if anyone can help me with what to do with my hair.

Traveling at that level would be pretty hard that I can't imagine it being something an average person could do. The only time I've really seen it is in movies, and it still wasn't exactly like everyone did it even then! And I only ever saw it with going from planet to planet. Not unierses.

It wouldn't be impossible. And people seem to be happy here, so I guess that even if they're doing that, they don't seem to have ill intentions.

But the scientists would eventually learn more? I mean, they must be researching on something.

Exactly --- only a miracle and those capable of working miracles would be capable of doing it. Even traveling between planets seems impossible by mundane means outside of fantasy fiction.

I could easily accept some benevolent version of that setup --- after all, save for the criminal organization, people here seem to be fairly idealistic and good-natured.

Well, they claim to be researching Pokemon, but Pokemon are just too mysterious, I suppose.

Yes! It is not usually the norm.

Everyone seems to be happy here and living peacefully. So, I guess that even if that is what's happening, it seems to benefit people here.

I guess Pokemon are just very complicated. There's a lot that I need to still learn about them. I'm a breeder, but there's so much I don't understand breeding yet. But I'll learn more and more and maybe they will learn more about Pokemon while I learn what's already known.

I'm also a breeder, and I have to agree. It's a bit... well... arcane likely isn't the right word for it, but it's far more complicated than one would expect it to be if you want actual results.

Does anyone really know what's causing us to arrive?

It might be because I'm still a beginner, but if Pokemon can breed across species, how is it not causing new breeds? It doesn't follow normal breeding logic, that's for sure. [Although, she'd be terrified of what different combinations people would try if that were possible...] There's so many things that determine what happens when you breed Pokemon, I don't know where to start.

That's still a fairly solid no.

The answer is that Pokemon genetics... don't make any sort of sense following the logic of actual genetics, but they seem to follow their own internal logic, if that makes any sense. For example, when you breed Pokemon of different species, there's a decent probability that you'll have a resulting mix of offspring of the father's species and offspring of the mother's species. Pokemon of the mother's species tend to inherit the father's moves and vice versa.

Can Pokemon breed with any other Pokemon than? Or are there certain rules to what can breed with what? [This is so confusing...this isn't anything like frog breeding.

But when creating a frog that is basically a universe, one probably doesn't consider normal logistics either.] I'll get the hang of this, but all of this is really confusing. So if you bred two of the same Pokemon, would it inherit moves from both parents?

There are rules, but they all seem a bit arbitrary. I can breed my Lilligant with my Serperior and my Serperior only, but he has a far wider range of options than she does.

At the very least, though, the combinations usually make sense. And... yes, that seems to be the case. I haven't attempted that yet because it's not very exciting.

What do you mean usually. Are there combinations that exist that shouldn't? [Does she want to know.] It isn't very exciting, no. But I guess it ensures what the offspring will get.
