I really love our little new friends! They're kind of gross, but they're really cute and make cute noises. I caught two since my other Pokemon don't really want to get dirty by them.

[When she shuffles into the video feed, Jade's hair is it's own national crisis. All of it seems to be consumed by the slime from the Bloobers and worst of all, there's a lot of stuff getting picked up into her hair. There's twigs and leaves and grass. Some trash was probably in there too. Anything you think were possible to get stuck in slime and Jade's hair is probably in there. She seems to be slightly distressed.] Does anyone know how to clean all of this out properly?! I mean, I'll just cut it all off otherwise, but I was wondering if there's anyway to clean it out. I just keep getting more stuff in it and I can't really clean it all out by myself.

[Her Bloobers pop out of her hair and chirp.

Uhm, I also wanted to ask. Has anyone ever dismantled the Pokeballs to study them? I've considered tinkering with them.

But I would reeeeaally love if anyone can help me with what to do with my hair.

Oh my god that's disgusting. U-um...You should be able to get it out if you just wash enough. I had a bunch of gunk in my hair the other day but we managed to get it out eventually.

But it's not like I was staring at a clock the whole time I was in the tub, I don't know exactly how long eventually was. Just that it was a while and that it was long enough for my fingers to get all pruny!

maybe you can get somebody to help you though? Then it will take less time. I can grab Rose if you want and she can tell you exactly what she did to get it out of my hair.

For the record though, you would probably look very nice with short hair. If it really does come to that. Which would be kind of sad because your hair is very nice long too.

[She doesn't actually mean it. She is mostly huffing a lot because there's just so much stuck in her hair right now.] And that's unhelpful. It only takes around 15 to 30 minutes for our skin to start doing that when under water.

Jane is going to help me, but I think we're gonna need more help with it.

I could just grow it back out if I cut it.

Dismantled the Pokeballs to study them? It seems like a good thing to do if you're experienced in that--but those things, what are they?

I like tinkering a lot, so even if I don't do it right the first time, I'd just buy another and try again until I learn anything.

They're Bloobers. That's what the natives are calling them at least. There was swarms of them, but there's absolutely no information on them.

[She's slowly trying to just pull some of this gunk out of her hair.]

Yeah, but what if they blow up or something crappier happens?

That would be really distressing! I like to think that it won't happen, especially because they're so sweet and playful. [Jade is more of an optimistic thinker.]

I haven't really gotten trapped in one yet! They kind of are more trapped in my hair more than anything!

[She doesn't do anything with her hair, but that's partially the problem. It was already super tangled when they started getting into her hair.]

They like it in here. [But she points her finger to the floor and they start crawling out, chirping in a friendly manner.] And that doesn't really help me with the current state of my hair.

I've had experience with other messy creatures, but these Bloober are... certainly in a league of their own.

As far as Pokeballs go... well, I don't think you're going to find much useful information even if you ask the natives, unfortunately. I spoke to one of the experts on the things and even he doesn't know exactly how they work.

It's odd that no one knows anything about them. I hope we can get more information about them soon. We can't really train them if we don't even know their move set.

How odd! How did they make them if they don't know how they work? I wonder if I'll be able to build them myself though. I mean, that's really the point of dismantling them. I can learn all the parts and pieces and if you can put something apart, you should eventually be able to put it back together.

That is an intriguing mystery, at the very least. If I didn't have so many other Pokemon to train, I'd experiment with them a bit to see what sorts of things they may be capable of. It might be frustrating at the outset and I honestly don't expect much of them, but who knows? They could surprise us all.

I believe the explanation I was given is that they were originally made out of nuts called an Apricorns that, for whatever reason, have special properties that allow them to catch Pokemon. The discovery of these properties seems to have happened so long ago that nobody really knows how they were discovered, but modern Pokeballs are just an updated, mass-produced version of those originals.

There's a man named Kurt in Azalea Town who still makes the traditional Pokeballs, which are interesting in and of themselves. He's the one who told me all this information, so he might be the best person to ask if you want to try and make some of your own.
